David Rite's - Logo

A brief Explanation of the "Phoenix"

The Phoenix Logo:

The ancient mythical bird, the Phoenix, was chosen because of its symbolism of nobility and rebirth. The David Rite logo features the phoenix’s image of hope, renewal, rebirth, resurrection, immortality, solitude, nobility, and grace. As the old story of the phoenix depicts the Sun Bird emerging from its own ashes of death to a new state being renewed, revitalized, and full of life.

Humankind, like the phoenix, is very resourceful and after setbacks, destruction, devastation, and loss they too can emerge renewed, revitalized, and full of life. The nature of humankind is like that of the Phoenix. They are full of hope and the image of the Fire Bird urges everyone to keep going forward, to keep up the good fight, and to do whatever it takes to come out victorious.

In essence, the depiction of the Phoenix in association with David Rite, encourages everyone to do whatever it takes to come home with honor. Improvise, adapt, overcome, and finish the mission. With the Rite mindset anything is possible.

A brief Explanation of the "Circle"

The Circle Symbol:

The circle is used in David Rite’s Logo because of its universal symbolism and extensive meaning. It encompasses the Phoenix Bird as a notion of totality, eternity or infinity, wholeness, timelessness, togetherness, and perfection. The rounded shape leans towards the feelings of community and the more social aspects of life, as in a 'circle of friends' or 'social circle' or ‘family circle’. Circles create a feeling of protection and perfection by appearing bubble-like and without harsh edges.

It can also be representational of the Self, unity, and the Infinite, Divine, or The Creator. The divine or the Creator is often said to be whole or complete and perfect as in the circle. 'God is a circle whose center is everywhere and whose circumference is nowhere' (Hermes Trismegistus).

The circle is the shape with the largest area for a given length or perimeter. It is the shape of the sun, moon, and the planets. The circle, as in the celestial bodies, are often associated with sacredness, religion, and eternity.

On a personal level the circle's beginning represents you and as it goes through the cycle it returns to you. It can mean what goes around comes around. When you have the right tools to come full circle, you can appreciate where you’ve been, where you are, and where you want to go.

A brief Explanation of the "D"

The Letter D and the Pipe:

A Pipe is integrated into the D that stands for David. A pipe must be lit in order to smoke. The fire and flame that ignites the pipe is a symbol of the fire within our hearts. The smoke is the intent and desire of the spirit. The rising smoke that reaches up to heaven helps in illuminating our past. The smell sooths the soul and brings peace and clarity to the mind. Using the application of exacting principles now will heal the past, make clear the path, and will bring hope in what is to come. Through this wisdom and understanding it elucidates our future. In other words, “Watch My Smoke!”

A brief Explanation of the "R"

The Letter R and the Paint Brush:

A Paint Brush is mixed in with the letter R in Rite which has symbolism in and of itself. Rite, as in rites of passage, advancing from one state into another. Rite also means correct, honorable, just, genuine, exact, noble, and service. Just as learning, accepting, and following the correct and exacting principles that David Rite lays out, as a foundation, You Can advance from where you are to where you want to be.

The Paint Brush represents Tools and Education. Tools are necessary in obtaining any skill. In order to fulfill any task, dream, or aspiration, the right 'tools' are needed. While obtaining tools, it is important to remember that hardships are a part that makeup the 'experience' in life. Tools can be contacts, materials, emotional or psychological, and/or spiritual. Fundamentally, tools are principles and principles are laws. Time is another principle.

Therefore, the tools acquired, like time, that is used is either working for you or against you. It is important to distinguish the tools needed in every situation. So, having the right tool, and the Rite mindset, for any job is essential.

In order to get the best results, you need to use the Right tool, for the Rite job.

The Phoenix Fire Golden Ring

The Phoenix Fire

Life is a tricky thing with its twists and turns as it rises and falls like the ocean’s tide. Bringing with it love and heartache, gains and losses, taking the bitter with the sweet. The unexpected swells of the tide, brought on by the storms of life, can dampen and flood our divine light.

As in nature, our emotions have an ebb and tide and at times surging waves. These waves move through us, crest, and recede. Just as with the waves in the ocean we cannot fight it, but we must learn to channel the waves of emotion into a productive resolve, just like the ocean's breakwaters do for the land. This gives us an opportunity and a powerful step towards healing and regaining our inner calm. Speaking of the ocean, this reminds me of the purpose of a lighthouse, and why one would need a light.

Lighthouses are still actively used as visual aids in navigation today. While modern ships rely on GPS and radar, lighthouses now act as crucial backups in case of electronic failure. They also help smaller boaters navigate and provide warnings of dangerous rocks, reefs, and shoals. People need a way to see in the dark, a light source, whether on the sea – a lighthouse, or on land - like a candle. Lighting a candle would require protection for the flame from the elements to stay lit. Similarly, our inner light needs protection from the harsh elements of life. The purpose of a lighted candle is to see. Having a lit candle and hiding it away would defeat the purpose of it, just as hiding your own light from others keeps everyone in the dark.

As you let your light so shine, by being that radiant light source placed in the open, you will be giving illumination to all that are near it. Your light will then become the beacon for all those navigating the treacherous gales of life. For you will, by nature, be the light that can provide instant relief, restore hope, and represent safety and deliverance from the perilous storms of life. Life’s ocean can be a place of uncertainty, be the steadfast pharos to give weary souls a clear point of reference to escape the chaos and steer towards safety.

I implore you to learn this simple but powerful poem and call it forth in your time of need. When the feeling of the ocean is heaving beyond its bounds and is flooding you with emotions. Use these words as breakwaters to break the force of incoming waves so that your light will never be extinguished. For these words will uplift, comfort, and encourage as it reminds you of your light and strength within.

The Phoenix's Light

In fearful day, in darkest night, when the ashes fall,

hope grows through embers glow.

Ignited by truth, endured through time,

consumes these embers into a flame divine.

Fueled by fire, soaked in sweat, drenched in tears.

With hope filled light,

I burn the dross to set wrongs right.

Turning the blackest night to the brightest day.

Beware my Light!

- The Phoenix Fire -

Each soul burns with the Phoenix's Fire, like the rays of the brightest sun, encircle yourself now with truth and love. This will ensure that the darkness will never prevail.

Rise up with me like the sacred Phoenix from the ashes of despair and chaos and fly!

Be sure to share this message!

In the light there are no shadows, fears, secrets, lies, and no ill will. In the light there is only understanding, openness, honesty, and love. Keep yourself bright, stay in the light.
